My name is Katie I am the wife of a high school football coach and a homeschooling mom of three beautiful children…recently we changed our diet, changed our lives, and are changing our world!

My Story...Gluten Free!

Many people today share my same concerns about food, health and nutrition.  There is so much in the news about “organic” and “super foods” and now even some publicity on genetically modified foods.  I have chosen to share with you about a brand new company, Beyond Organic, that I have recently become a part of. Here is my story…

I did my best to be healthy and was happy with the nutrition I provided for my family. I cooked all our food from “scratch” and we used very little sugar, we ate tons of fruits and veggies and we were healthy. My decision to drastically change our diet came recently (we had already changed from cows milk to almond milk to help our children's asthma). My oldest son who is 7 yrs old, has been having some difficulties dealing with life since he turned 3yrs old.  Some people say he has OCD, others say he displays mild autistic symptoms. I thought that was "just him" and that we would have to teach and train him to deal with his anxiety, anger, and constant meltdowns, and that in time he would learn. But at 7 yrs old he still struggled and Mark I and struggled to parent him. So I researched, I consulted my brother Richard (OneBody4Christ.com), and I researched more, and our journey began. We have changed our diets and lifestyle (now gluten free and organic) and our son is a happy, calm, loving and “normal” 7 yr old!! What a testimony of the healing that healthy whole foods can do for your body!

I have learned so much in such a short time and am excited to continue learning! There are a lot of “Organic” labels in the store but what is real? "Organic" and “grass-fed” beef at Whole Foods and other stores only require that the cows consume 30% grass.  Only 30%!  Beyond Organic beef will be 100% green fed!
